I have ordered the wood already long before I participated in the carpenter class. It is oak from Coop Bau und Hobby: Leimholzplatte Eiche 18 mm Quality is not the very best, ok, but the only wood I was able to easily get at that time and was easy to handle for me with the available machines.

The idea joining a carpeter course was born while having an afterwork beer with an old friend Alex Suzuki, who has already applied to that course. That said it was kind of a no-brainer to apply as well.
