This box was crafted out of walnut. The base is done out of padouk. In the lid there was a special detail added. On top of the lid there were 4 layers of veneer glued. After planing a chamfer on the top edge tit looks like there were stripes added to the edges. In order to prevent the lid from bending a counter layer of padouk veneer was glued to the bottom of the lid.
