Read MoreAfter I finished the wall cup board it was time to continue the living room furniture crafting with the high board/cupboard. The high board should consist of three parts of a size of 240cm in widht and 120cm in height. The first part of the highboard should be placed underneath the wall cupboard which was already described in a previous blogpost. Furthermore the highboard should contain a dedicated space for out Jura coffee machine.
Read MoreThe original idea for this wall cupboard comes from Heiko Rech. He did an online course to build an in german called “Kleines Hängeschränkchen” on his website where he describes how to craft this small wall furniture out of waltnur and maple. I watched that online course since I was interested in building small furniture out of lumber. After watching more videos provided by him sich as building a cupboard and how to do veneering I decided to combine some of the presented techniques and build my version of the wall cupboard. Sounds a bit too much and at the end I even added another detail to the cupboard, but it turned out great and I learned a lot.
Read MoreI started using a Kärcher WD5 premium industrial vaccum cleaner as dust collector in my shop which we used while do the renovation of our house. Quickly I had ideas to use a cyclone to better separate the chips and sawdust. I ordered a cyclone from bangood but finally used a dust collector from Triton.
